Mathsoul Face-Lifter poster on chocolate.
Reads - "Eat one, you'll want two more. Eat two, you'll crave another four. Eat four - well you do the maths".
Quotation from Adrian Fryin, New Statesman Feb 28 2005.
A great poster to demonstrate by eating the requisite chololates as indicated, either yourself or sharing some with students. This will certainly capture full student attention. Especially helpul for visual and kinetic learners of mathematics.
Interesting to explore in part because this does not fully define the future terms of the sequence. Is it the normal geometric sequence of 2 raised to one higher power each term, or is it a type of arithmetic sequence with term 1 = 1, and then term n = t(n-1) +n?
